As a small boat commercial lobsterman and shellfisherman who has fished for over 30 years from Long Island to Cape Cod, I feel that the Electra-Dyne hauling systems have been the best piece of equipment ever invented and reliable too! I have worked with people who still have the older style Electra-Dyne hauling system and they swear by them , not at them. They are easy to maintain and are easily adapted to be multi functional in different marine applications. I have used my Electra-Dyne hauler under very harsh conditions for the past 3 seasons and it works and looks as good as new.

Just a short note to compliment you on the outstanding service with regard to the solenoid order.
I called Monday at about 8:30am (forgetting it was Patriots Day) and left a message on your machine. At noon today the big brown truck showed up with the solenoid - some 27 hours after my call from Maine!
In this day and age when customer service is almost non-existent in many companies, including even the largest, you folks at Electra-Dyne could sure show them how to do it.
I've been a customer for about 10 years and can honestly say every time I've called the experience has been friendly and helpful.

We are using a 10" Electra-Dyne. It works great, we have pulled 85# pots with no problem. My friend Jim used it for years when he fished rock crab commercially, since he is not crabbing now we adapted it to my Triumph.
It has been used and abused but still going strong.

We got our Electra-dyne last year and we haven't looked back. We can pull gear like never before and it doesn't even hesitate on a full pot. We can now keep the boat going and dump the line over and it will keep up...in fact I have to spee the boat up some! LOVE IT, LOVE IT LOVE IT!
